TRAIN - TREK- TRAIL
unlike other blogs i dont want to cut n paste whats there in wiki , i ll just share what i felt :)
i heard about kumara parvatha from my friend satish (college mate) who had been with his class mates in october 2012 n i saw thier pics n got fascinted ... unfortunately i had planned kodachadri trip (blog coming soon) so couldnt make that time so i waited till my semester exams got over (5th sem ) n most of the time in study holidays i ruined my time seeking other blogs about kumara parvatha n that helped too to make my trip.ufff enough of background story lets start.
this trip was preplanned few months before execution . myself, shravan, sujay n his friends was ready to headup at last moment 6 were ready ( me , sujay, yatish,arun,chandra kanth ,dilip)
TENTATIVE PLAN
7th january :depart bangalore at 0730 hrs from yeshwantpur railway stn
arrival to subramanya at 1630 hrs den depart to dharmastala
have darshana , stay
8th january : depart to kukke have darshana n start trekking n stay on k,p peak
trek down depart to bangalore
me and sujay booked train tickets for subhramaya rd as heard sakaleshpura to subrahmanya rd railway route has scenic beauty
ON 7TH JANUARY 2013
previous day i had reminded every trekmate to be in ypr R.S on r b4 0700 hrs n myself reached the stn by 0645 hrs n waited for them n dey all arrived but the train din finally it came around 0800 hrs n finally we left the concrete jungle

mist covered completely n badly wanted to get rid of chillness

don forget to take powerfull torch r else u ll end up in hell for sure ! it was so cold with powerfull winds we couldnt light camp fire but finally!
after having some snacks we were wild enough to resist to chillness but not for more than 30 min . we try sleeping without sleeping bags but weather condition at altidute of about 1200+mts at winter is irresistable so be prepared ! it was so cold we couldnt sleep for even 30 min n eagerly waited for sunrise :( but those experience is priceless :P

every one was exausted and had lunch in temple at 1400hrs after reaching base and look rest for 1 hr , chandrakanth convinced every one to go to mangalore and den headback to bangalore though exausted every 1 agreed then we reached R.S and boarded train to mangalore
